A terribly scary experience. Well, we would not recommend this place to anyone. The customer service is definitely, the worst we have ever witnessed. We do set our standards high and this was well below except-able Gosh where to begin. With the owner/ manager shouting at us in front of everyone??? The experience was not good in fact I came out scared sad and shaking. The greeting at the start needs lots of practice. The place looks great then..... We ordered a simple 2 coffees and 1 Danish pastry. It took 20mins for the coffee to come, missing the pastry. We reminded the lad, that a pastry had been ordered. We drank our semi warm coffee and waited. We asked the same guy again about the pastry, waited. Them a third time we ask, the reply in a very rude manner was “I am busy wiping this table, you’ll have to wait.” We were them told it was in the oven cooking. By now our coffee was long gone. The ‘Old sad’looking Danish was plonked down in front of my husband. He eat it to be polite but Is was only aired, not fresh out of the oven. A nice waitress inquired if all had been ok. I explained the situation to her and requested our bill. We waited then my husband went and requested the bill again. An older guy snapped saying How busy they were and yes it was coming. My husband came out, a waitress took our payment, then all hell let loose. The older man who was the manager / owner came outside and in front of other customers, started to shout in a very angry aggressive way at my husband. How his staff were perfect,his place is the best in Cheshire. He said the waiter had not said that too us! He shouted and shouted at us I was very scared and so was my husband. He was so rude, just like the young lad. Going on about how bad lockdown had been on him and his staff. Never again will we go to this place nor will all our friends who often go there. My only regret is I should have taken a photo of the pastry and take a video of this mans rank.
